2019/2020 What’s Happening at Taylor Public Library….

Taylor Public Library has been able to upgrade and/or fulfill educational and media equipment necessities through the supportive partnerships with these companies: Fort St. John Co-op, North Peace Savings and Credit Union, Pembina, Peace River Hydro Partners, Canfor, Shell Canada, Coastal GasLink, NorthRiver Midstream, and Walmart Canada. The full contribution from these companies is just over $24,000.

We are extremely grateful and excited that we now have new computers, laptops, projector, screens, media cart and some extra accessories. “Our mission is to be ‘the community’s friendly gateway to the worlds of learning, imagination, and creative pursuits’,” says Library Director Sherry Murphy.

The new media equipment, computers and laptops will provide up to date and faster equipment which will enhance our workshops and/or training sessions or perhaps allow some patrons to come together to slow down a bit to take in a movie night or two. A few pictures are below:

We are grateful for the support each of these companies contributes to community objectives.
